Seagrass is a very robust natural material. It has an almost string like appearance and is woven onto a wire frame which means it is usually pretty strong and well suited for stacking and storage. The green shades of the weave is distinctive.  It is not a good idea to get seagrass wet, so these baskets are recommended for indoor use only. To care for these baskets, brush down gently or wipe with a damp cloth to remove dirt and stains.
